1.can you play the guitar?
can是情態動詞，意思是「會；能夠」，沒有人稱和數的變化 ，其後要跟動詞原形，變否定句是在can後面加not變成can』t。變一般疑問句是把can提到主語前面。
如：can you play chess? 你會下棋嗎？
i can play the piano.我會彈結他。

2.speak的用法
speak意思是「說；說話」。側重開口說話，不側重說話的內容，一般用作不及物動詞；當用作「說某種語言」時，要用「speak+語言」，接物件要加介詞to。

join 意思是「加入；做…的成員」。 常用句型為：join in + 名詞

5. swimming、sound、show的用法
(1) v-ing作定語, 如swimming club游泳俱樂部

(2) sound是系動詞，後面要跟形容詞。

(3)show作名詞,意味「演出，節目」。

6. what about 的用法
what about … 是英語口語中常用的省略句型，後面跟人稱代詞賓格和v-ing，常用來徵詢對方的看法或意見。
