第乙個did是助動詞無詞意，幫助do構成否定句。第二個do是謂語動詞必須還原。（時態，人稱，數要求在助動詞上體現。）
he did his homework at 4:00 in the afternoon.（就時間狀語問句）
when did he do his homework?（理由同上）
he did his homework at 4:00 in the afternoon. （就主語提問時謂語動詞不變）
