其實英語
數字的讀法跟漢語數字的讀法一樣，區別就在於英語數字是三位乙個分界，而漢語是四位乙個分界的。漢語中先是個十百千，到萬是第五位，十萬百萬千萬，萬上也是四位，然後就到億，還是四位再到下一級；英語中也一樣，只不過是三位一級，也就是說個十百，然後是千（thousand）十千（ten thousand)，百千(one hundred thousand)，然後是百萬（million),十百萬（ten million），百百萬（one hundred million）以此下去。

一、基數詞的讀法
1、在英式英語中，乙個數的最後兩
位(十位和個位)得用"and''，但美式英語中則不用。如：

2、不定冠詞"a"只在數的開頭才和hundred，thousand等連用。試比較：
146讀作：a hundred(and)forty-six

3、1，000這個整數我們說a thousand，在and前我們也說a thousand，但是在乙個有百位數的數目前就得說one thousand，試比較：
